Ordering & delivery
How long does delivery take?
Every poster is printed to order. Orders are processed within 1 business day, and delivery usually takes around 5–8 business days after that. Exact options and estimates are shown at checkout.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping usually costs between €5 and €7, depending on destination and order size. The exact amount is shown at checkout before you pay.
When should I order for Christmas?
Plan about two weeks from order to delivery, so order by early December to be safe.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship to all EU countries, the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders outside the EU may be subject to import duties or fees.
Do you charge VAT?
No. As a small business under § 6 (1) 27 of the Austrian VAT Act, we do not charge VAT. Import duties for destinations outside the EU are shown at checkout where available.
Posters & framing
What size are Canvas Comrade posters?
All posters measure 42 × 59.4 cm (16.5 × 23.4 in), which is the international A2 size. Rewind and Teardown share this size, so you can mix them on one wall.
Do the posters come framed?
No. Posters are sold unframed. An A2 frame shows them edge to edge; a 50 × 70 cm frame with an A2 mat gives a gallery look.
What paper and inks do you use?
Museum-grade archival paper with a matte finish and pigment inks. The paper is designed to resist yellowing over time.
Where are the posters designed and printed?
Every design is created in Vienna, Austria. Posters are printed on demand by a print partner in the EU on paper produced in China.
What is the difference between Rewind and Teardown?
Rewind shows complete retro devices as bold, colourful icons. Teardown shows vintage devices taken apart in detailed exploded-view illustrations.
Is a poster set cheaper than three single posters?
Yes. Each three-poster set costs €75.00 instead of €83.97 for the same three posters bought individually.
How do I care for my poster?
Display it indoors, away from moisture and open flames. Wipe off dust gently with a clean, dry cloth.
Returns & help
Can I return a poster?
Yes. Consumers can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. Details are in our refund policy.
What if my poster arrives damaged or misprinted?
Email us within 14 days with your order number and a photo. We will send a free replacement or give you a full refund, and you do not need to return the item.
Does Canvas Comrade sell Soviet or propaganda posters?
No. Despite the name, we only make retro and vintage tech posters. We use “comrade” in its everyday sense: a companion on your wall.
